The Sound and The Chasms, Cregneash
Castle Rushen, Castletown
This medieval castle in Castletown on the Isle of Man has been used in many
films, including Cinderella and I Capture the Castle. Currently this site is run as a tourist attraction.
Harbour, Castletown
Still an active fishing and boating area, the harbour also has connections
with races and events, as well as a long past with Castle Rushen.
Scarlett, Castletown
The town of Castletown sits on the remains of a volcano. Long ago
ice collided with lava and together they formed the basis for the
Isle of Man. The ripples of the lava can be seen along the coast of
Scarlett.
Old Grammar School, Castletown
This small one room school house started off as a chapel and was in used for
many centuries. It is a lasting marker of the rich and prosperous past of
Castletown.
Colby Glen, Colby
A natural and woody glen located in the south of the Island.
Port Erin
This small town is located in the far south of the Island. Its beautiful
beach and high cliffs attract many visitors.
