STORYLINE
SYNOPSIS |
Set over a summer in an English town, three stories take place at the same
time. Following the death of Stuart, three men connected to him begin to
reevaluate their lives. Dan is a faithful husband and father, though also
a poor farmer. After the death of Stuart, he tries to persuade his wife
that they need her dead brother's money more than her brother's lover does.
More problems arise at the funeral, when Dan meets Corinne, an interesting
French woman from a flower shop, who reminds him of the missing bits in
his life. Nick, a local restaurant owner, was Stuart's lover, lost in grief
he embarks on a relationship with an young and active woman. Things turn
difficult when the relationship becomes intimate and Nick has to find where
he wants to stand. Then there is Tim, Stuart's cousin, who happens to arrive
at the time of the funeral, after being aboard for more then eight years.
His path through life is random and wild. Searching for something to give
his life meaning he becomes connected with a woman from a fashion shop, but
will her past ruin any chance for a future together.
