STORYLINE SYNOPSIS |
A contemporary about Emelia, a 17 year old girl, who starts working at a B&B
on the South Coast of England. The Cliff House is run by the dysfunctional
Fischer family. The B&B, which was bought from the proceeds of Mr Fischer's
first book, is run by Mrs Fischer. At first it was a pleasant distraction, but
with publishing deals all dried up, it is now the main source of income.
Daughter Beth is desperate to escape the small town and her warring family.
Emelia is an aspiring writer, and soon catches the eye of Mr Fischer, Jonathan.
Their relationship quickly crosses the line and a secret affair begins. At
the same time, Emelia and Beth strike up a surprise friendship, but as their
friendship grows Emelia soon realises the problems which will result when the
truth comes out.
