STORYLINE SYNOPSIS |
A determined, young Irish girl named Bridie Quilty has been raised with
very anti British feelings by her Republican father. When she comes of age
in 1944 it is her deepest desire to join the IRA and fight against the English.
Unable to meet this desire she is persuaded by a German spy to join him
against their mutual enemy. Bridie soon finds herself working in a pub
near a British military prison, there she uses allure to gain secrets.
It all leads to trouble though, when Bridie finds out an important secret,
and drags in not only herself, but also the British Officer who's fallen
for her and an unknown German agent.
