Steam Railway, Castletown
The IOM Guide Team caught builders putting up a cover at the Castletown
Steam Railway Station. A station master informed us it was for the filming
of this movie.
Glen Wyllin (Glen Mooar) Beach, Kirk Michael
Most of the filming will be done in the Kirk Michael area, located in the
northwest part of the Island. Sets near Glen Mooar beach and filming along
to the beach of Glen Wyllin.
Douglas Steam Railway Station, Douglas
More filming caught on camera by the IOM Guide Team. This time there was
a large crowd of crew, extras, and stars at the Douglas Station for most
of the day (July 19th).
Castletown Square, Castletown
We were informed that there were sets being built in Castletown Square.
When the IOM Guide team went to check it out they saw a complete shop front
and side sitting at the edge of the square. We were informed while there
that sets and filming had only just started at this location, so keep a
look out, especially in the evenings (July 20th). Thanks Richard for your

Castletown Square, Castletown
The square was a buzz with actions as filming on a grand scale started in
Castletown. The photo says it all, loads of extras, props and sets, as well
as some stars (July 26th).
Castletown Square, Castletown
I was in Castletown yesterday (Tuesday 29th July) and the main street had
obviously been used for filming a shopping street, but they had now finished
and were clearing it all away. There had obviously been filming very recently
as some of the actors/actresses were still in costume - and a lot of equipment
had been used. My grandchildren of 6 and 8 were fascinated - especially by the
false shop fronts! I have a good photo of them by one! They were also
interested in the way the drain covers had been 'hidden' by sand! Thanks Beth

Niarbyl, Dalby
Near Niarbyl. A false front to an ornate house and a set of gates were
constructed along the lane between Dalby and Niarbyl. Filming started on July
29th. I can imagine that they had a good time negotiating the single-lane road
with their equipment. They parked most of it in a field close to where the
lane meets A27. Thanks Jim for your submission.
