HMS Ramsey

The HMS Ramsey is the tenth of the Sandown Class of Single Role Minehunters. Built of glass reinforced plastic, it is the third Navy ship to bear the name Ramsey. Launched Nov 1999 the ship company consists of 5 Officers, 7 Senior Ratings, and 22 Junior Ratings. Mainly deployed around the British Isles, the HMS Ramsey has been sent as far as Norway and the Baltic. Their minehunting system consisting of Sonar 2093, Nautis M, and RCMDS 2 make the Sandown class of ships some of the most effective minehunters in the world.
