Grand Parade for the Laxey Wheel 150th Anniversary

At 2pm on a clear afternoon, a large group of people, many dressed in period outfits followed the Lancashire Territorial Artillery Military Band as it marched from the Queen's Hotel to the Laxey Wheel for a re-enactment of the opening ceremony. The parade was joined at Whitehouse close by children of Laxey School, many dressed as mine workers.
